Weigh-In
After one week on the One Menu plan, I'm down 4 pounds.
We've planned to replace all Jorge's suggested carbs with fiber-loaded sources. Hopefully that will kick it into gear.
I would say being down 4 pounds in one week IS kicking into high gear!! I'll be interested in hearing what high fiber carbs you've switched to. Congrats on such a good loss!
The dinners are kinda similar, the major difference is how much more he cuts back on carbs. But there isn't a lot of roughage, so I'm more than a little concerned.
Thanks! It wasn't a bad weigh in, just lower than the advertised "11 pounds per week" (in reality I was hoping for 7-9).
My main concern is for my digestive system. So I am using Fiber One whole grain English muffin in the lunch for this week (4g fiber per half), benefiber in my coffee (always have been), flax bread in place of sourdough. I'll pick up some flax pitas when I run out of the whole wheat ones I bought for week one.
